Getting Started:

Tactic 1 – Reaching from zero to 25 Facebook fans:

If you have not create your facebook fan page yet, quickly go to http://facebook.com/pages/create.php and follow the simple instructions in creating with your business name. Facebook will give your a long url that includes both your business name and numbers – which is not so easy to remember or show off to your friends and customers. Next step is to get up to 25 people to like your fan page, so as to claim your vanity URL with a custom username – http://www.facebook.com/carolinewabarapage. The free method is to recruit your facebook friends, family, collegues and customers from your profile and email list to become your first fans.

Simply click the suggestion/invite button to invite them, then send a message script that goes like this:

“Hi, I just started a new facebook page, and Facebook needs me to have 25 fans before I can get a username for my page. I would really appreciate you being one of the first 25 people to like my page – and only takes a few seconds. Here is the link: http://facebook.com/carolinewabarapage.”

Tactic 2 – Reaching From 25 To 100 Facebook Fans:

Once you have acquired 25 fans and have claimed your vanity URL, you need to move on to the next step of getting 100 fans. You would need to work your network by announcing your new vanity URL to your friends via a ‘wall post’ on Facebook.

Ask your friends do 3 quick things to help you do the following:
